Delayed!

Yes I know, my next anthology has been delayed. It's a bit more than I expected it would be so it might only be ready in about two weeks. Sorry to keep people waiting. The anthology will focus on America as seen by European filmmakers. ANy suggestions for films or directors would be welcome. So far I have Wim Wenders, Emir Kusturica and Werner Herzog.
On the flip side I am working on producing my first short film! It follows a guy as he attempts to meet up with one of his online chat buddies. Of course he gets more than he bargained for...But I will keep everyone posted.
The film will be shot, edited and cleaned up in 7 days so I am hoping for the best. Please keep your fingers crossed :D

Grand Opening Week!!! Thank you for joining me at the beginning. They say the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step (I got that from Sierra's game Pharaoh). So this is it! The site may be anaemic now but in time it will bulk up and be ready to take on the titans. Comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated (no seriously, I'll be so happy to get some). The plan is to release an anthology every month as well as post weekly movie reviews. This is where you come in. The Long Take needs YOU! Yes YOU! Don't be shy, let me know what's happening in that celluloid-infested brain of yours.

The next step for me is to set up a community forum where budding filmmakers can network with other filmmakers and make some movies! Movies that I will totally advertise on this site and everyone will watch them. I also hope to start a blog soon or might be looking for someone who wants to run a blog on film. Let me know if you are interested. Remember, I'm a young student who is vulnerable to exploitation...so strike while the iron is hot.
